From September 17th – 20th, PLAN (Professional Lenders Association Network of Australia) hosted their 20th Anniversary celebrations and broker conference in Alice Springs. The event was an amazing experience for all Nectar brokers in attendance, with a number of interesting seminars and training sessions on offer from leading industry experts. The highlight, however, was always going to be the Gala Awards Dinner, where Nectar was thrilled to win the National Business Growth Award.

“In a year when most aggregation businesses went backwards by around 16%, Nectar achieved 25% year on year growth”.

Nectar attributes a great deal of the growth we have experienced to our continual focus on our customers. We know that if we continue to deliver outstanding client care and great financial outcomes, our customers will become referrers and advocates for our services. A referral is the highest compliment we can receive, and we thank all of our amazing customers for the critical role they have played in our business growth.

As well as winning the Growth Award, Nectar was proud to be announced a finalist in the Business of the Year and Community categories. Placing as a finalist in the Community category is a reflection of our commitment to our charity partners Children’s Cancer Institute, for whom we have hosted a number of successful fundraising events over the past 24 months.

Our Nectar Canberra franchise also achieved great success at the PLAN Awards, winning Business of the Year (6-10 brokers) at both state and national levels.
